What Workforce Navigator does, in one minute
Workforce Navigator turns a military career into a verified civilian plan. Enter a job code (MOS, AFSC, or Rating), and it confirms the code against the Department of Labor's O*NET crosswalk, translates the experience into civilian terms, and ranks real occupations with official wages for where you plan to live. It is the skills translation engine of the M.I.S.S.I.O.N. Pathway transition program.
- Evaluate. Translate My Job gives the full picture of your service in civilian language. Readiness Check places you in a Pathway tier, and Skills by Rank shows what you have built at each grade.
- Plan. Explore Careers ranks options from your skills, Career Outlook goes deep on one career where you will live, and Job Openings and Schools & Training show what is available right now.
- Launch. Pathway Guidance gives phase by phase coaching, and the Transition Packet assembles everything into one document you can hand to an employer or counselor.
Every number is labeled with where it came from. Verified means a U.S. Department of Labor figure (O*NET, CareerOneStop, or BLS). AI guidance means analysis written to help you think, which you should confirm before relying on it. The same inputs always return the same answer.
Employers and workforce planners have their own lane above for assessing how AI will change roles and planning reskilling.
